'Concierge' Wins the Grand Prize at the 30th Fade In Awards!

From early competition wins to a newly revised draft now heading to market, Concierge reaches a major milestone with its Grand Prize win at the 30th Fade In Awards!

What a great cap to an already incredible week, which included a meeting on the Sony lot and some wonderful new artwork for my upcoming comic series Heard. Our TV pilot Concierge has won the Grand Prize in the 30th Fade In Awards TV Pilot / Web Series Competition! This project has been a long-standing passion of ours, and this recognition feels especially meaningful given the journey the script has taken over the years.

Concierge first began gaining traction when it won the Script Pipeline TV Competition. Since then, it has continued to place in several major contests, including as a Top 15 Finalist in the Outstanding Screenplays TV Pilot Competition and a Quarterfinalist in the PAGE International Screenwriting Awards this past year. Each step along the way has helped sharpen the screenplay and reaffirm its potential.

After a recent revision, the script is stronger than it’s ever been, and we’re currently taking Concierge out to market through our managers at Citizen Skull. Fade In will also be sharing the pilot with industry professionals. It’s officially one of our hot specs, and we’re excited to see where it lands next.

How the Project Came Together

The original concept for Concierge was born from an idea by Wynna (Lea), who brought the world and central character to life. Matt and I later joined her in co-writing the pilot, shaping it into the series it is today. It remains one of our proudest collaborations and a project we’ve continued to believe in through every iteration.

Winning the Fade In Awards feels like a powerful validation of that belief, and a reminder that sometimes the projects that stay with you the longest are the ones worth fighting for.
